THE GOOSE PIT ART SHOPPE
Sand, Starfish, Small Wonders and Pleasures of Life What seems like just yesterday, but yet we both know was decades ago- I still posses that curiosity of your little boy Dreaming and digging in the sand for a lost treasure. Yes, that same curiosity is still here today. Just seems I’m always on the go, looking for some lost toy that recalls some childhood simple pleasure.
Just like back then, now in a different way- I am a little wiser you know, Only because you taught me how to enjoy life’s simple pleasures and treasures.
So when you wonder every once and a while or even today What I am dreaming, thinking or doing? Just look into this representation of a moment joy- Remembering how your small boy sees life small pleasures.
Hopefully then, my picture can bring a smile to your face today And ease your concerns in where my life is going Take comfort in knowing I will always be your little boy Still playing in the sand, looking for starfish and small treasures.
And in a the way You have taught me, Life isn’t measured by where your going But being able to enjoy Knowing there’s always lots of sand to play in and occasionally a starfish that need rescuing –from those that can always find small pleasures and treasures.
In our lives today, In our dreaming , In our memories worth enjoying, In my simple gift of those pleasures.
