THE GOOSE PIT ART SHOPPE
"Elusive Dance" “Elusive Dance” May 07, 2005 Jamie “Goose” Voigt As Apollo sprinkled his last rays of gold across the sea under the weather. We saw her dancing in the twilight on her tail Another missed chance to tether- Surly she would top a grand on the scale. Was this the last of Poseidon’s crowned princesses fleeting? Neither el caption or crew could say? Was this just a curse of our meeting - Or perhaps blessed without the Devil to pay? With the last of rays of the day and hope where quickly vanishing- The souls of the Cabo Magic could only wish for now, As they watched her in the offing Just one more chance tomorrow. Today she passed my dance card –, For our limits of sight and light were about to expire- El captain delayed hard To the Bitter End –just one last moment to admire. Leeway to the horizon, she finished her solo dance and blessed us with one last glance. T’was it a missed dance? Not a chance. That dance was mine.
